Growing up, my coaches and trainers emphasized the importance of cross-training. Even though I enjoyed lifting weights and playing sports, I wasn’t a huge fan of any sort of cardio. I have learned over the years how endurance guides your physical activity journey and allows you to excel in all aspects of fitness. Sustaining high-level intensity can only come through repetition and building upon your endurance.
